WORKOUT TIPS
- Make sure you don’t over-exercise
- Go on walks, practice Yoga, or do some Pilates
- Stay away from intense muscle building as you aren’t taking in a lot of protein
- High-impact cardio workouts that induce a lot of cardiovascular stress are also not advisable
- When you chose to workout, drink a juice before you do so to provide you with energy
- Otherwise, a major part of the cleanse is rest - give your body a break and take care of yourself!

- First day after the cleanse: start by eating as late as possible to get the most out of the program

LOADED VEGETABLE SOUP

CREAMY KALE SOUP
INGREDIENTS:
- 15mL extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 400mL can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1,5L low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 sweet potato, diced
- 350g savoy cabbage or baby spinach
- Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large pot, warm olive oil on medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic until translucent. Add in the celery and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add the bay leaf and spices (cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne).
- Add the tomatoes, vegetable broth, and sweet potato.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 25 minutes, until the potato is tender.
- Stir in cabbage or spinach for 4 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
INGREDIENTS:
- 15mL extra-virgin olive oil or coconut oil
- 1 white onion, finely chopped
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 400g cauliflower florets
- 1 medium potato, diced
- 330g de-stemmed chopped kale
- 700mL low-sodium vegetable broth
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large pot, warm olive oil on medium-low heat.
- Add onion and garlic in the oil until translucent.
- Add the cauliflower, carrot, kale, and potato, stir together, and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Add the vegetable broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 25 minutes, until the cauliflower and potato are tender.
- Transfer everything to a blender, squeeze in the lemon juice, and blend until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
